Former No Limit Soldier Mr. Serv-On is gearing up for his return to the public eye, via a new dating and relationship guide written by the artist himself. Entitled Inside the Mind of Brothas: A Young Black Man's Guide for Black Women Trying to Survive the Dating Game in Today's Hip-Hop Generation, the book aims to resolve the most common conflicts faced by young African-American couples today. “Seventy percent of the time, Black Women's hearts get broken because of their own blind misjudgment and greediness for a man based on outside attributes," explained Mr. Serv-On. “With this book, I hope to teach women about today's Black men in the Hip-Hop community, so that the playing fields are equal and every black woman will end up with the right guy," the rapper continued.
Saints stars go out on loan
Until now most fans have been positive about the clubs prospects but this latest turn of events is pointing more and more towards League 1 and financial meltdown than a return to the top flight. Please just tell us all the truth and don't insult our intelligence with anymore with cynical stories about investment (Paul Allen etc!) aimed at covering up the facts and trying to sell more season tickets. .
Today is February 29th!: Businesses see marketing opportunity
February 29th only comes around once every four years. 2008 is a leap year that means there is one extra day on the calendar to help keep it in sync with the sun. The extra day in a leap year is a sum of the previous years' quarter days, 365.25 days in a year, which add up to a full day every four years. For most people it's just another day, "it doesn't really make sense to me - I mean it's kind of arbitrary right?" One person said. Unless of course you're one of the 200,000 Americans born on leap day like motivational guru Anthony Robbins and rapper Ja Rule. Many businesses are now using leap year as a marketing hook, hoping to see a jump in their profits. Franchises like Boston market and Papa John's pizza are offering leap day deals by giving away free pan pizzas to those born on February 29th.
What Thanksgiving means to me
But our modern-day feast does in fact mirror the meal shared between Colonists and natives in 1621, long before Thanksgiving became a household word and turkey was elected the food of choice. "It was a three-day feast," said Chris Rasmussen, associate professor of history at Fairleigh Dickinson University. "The Pilgrims were thankful for having food in their bellies. It was a remarkable event. Of course, they were fighting in 1622." Credit for the federal holiday on the fourth Thursday in November goes to "Mary Had a Little Lamb" author Sarah Josepha Hale. Hale, the editor of Godey's Lady's Book, a 19th-century publication the equivalent of today's Good Housekeeping, championed a national day of Thanksgiving. "In 1863, right around the time of the Battle of Gettysburg, she wrote to President Lincoln and asked him to declare a national holiday for Thanksgiving," Rasmussen said.
Google to settle click fraud suit with $90m?
Under a proposed $90m settlement of a class-action lawsuit over alleged click fraud, Google said on Wednesday that it would offer advertising credits to marketers who claim they were charged for invalid clicks and not reimbursed. The total amount of credits, including attorneys' fees, will max out at $90m, Nicole Wong, associate general counsel at Google, wrote in a Google blog posting. The lawsuit, filed in February 2005 in state court in Texarkana, Arkansas, accused the defendant search engines of charging advertisers for clicks on online advertisements that were fraudulent or done in bad faith and not with the intention of legitimate commerce. The lawsuit was filed by Caulfield Investigations and Lane's Gifts and Collectibles against Ask Jeeves, now known as Ask.com; Buena Vista Internet Group, doing business as Go.com; FindWhat.com, now known as Miva Media; Google; LookSmart; Lycos; Time Warner, and its AOL and Netscape subsidiaries; and Yahoo!.

Caban admitted punching Sylvester Wilson, who is black, outside Don's Cocktail Lounge in Lakeside last July 8 in what prosecutors said was an unprovoked attack. .
Brumby to join Bali conference
VICTORIAN Premier John Brumby will join the United Nations climate change conference in Bali next week to spruik the state's green credentials. Mr Brumby will attend the world conference for two days in a visit that follows the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's move yesterday to ratify the Kyoto Protocol. The premier will be the keynote speaker at a meeting of sub-national governments - comprising about 50 state governments from around the world. "There are many people around the world who see what we've done in Victoria as being a genuine leadership position, so I'll be telling them what we've done," Mr Brumby told Southern Cross Broadcasting. Mr Brumby said the conference was a great opportunity to also learn more about global climate change issues and start discussions with Australia's new Federal Government.
Clinton, Obama Split; McCain Takes Solid Lead

In their hard-fought Democratic duel, Obama won 13 states and Clinton took eight, ensuring a protracted battle for the nomination. Clinton's wins included the key prizes of California and New York on the biggest day of U.S. presidential voting before the Nov. 4 election to succeed President George W. Bush. .
Pre-human dating scene was a real jungle
Humans basically court each other one-on-one today, but 2 million-year-old skulls tucked away in South African caves suggest that our ancient male relatives dated troops of females. The bones belonged to Paranthropus robustus hominids, mostly males. These extinct human relatives split away from our evolutionary track about 2.5 million years ago. Scientists said the preponderance of male skulls, located in what were likely lairs of hyenas or leopards, offered a clear view into our close relative's social world. "That's a major clue because it tells us males are at greater risk of predation," said Charles Lockwood, a paleoanthropologist at the University College London. "You see this kind of death trend with other primates, where dominant males cast out the competition. Most of the specimens in our sample were the equivalent of young adults, 18 to 19 years old." .
